From BBC programme Motorway Cops (Episode: Duty of Care, aired on Monday 9 September 2013)
A 91 year old WWII vet has his car hit by a truck, rendering his car undriveable. When the Motorway Cops find out he's on his way to Holland for a Regimental Reunion, they pull out all the stops to help him out and get to his reunion in time. Including driving him to a rental car company to see if they can get him a car.
And it was all worthwilde. Even with the sad ending.

Why do they add captions? I'm Canadian and I can understand them just fine. I find it odd.

Kudos to these officers for going well above the call of duty to help him.

Maybe the uploader needs Closed Captioning on his TV?

As an American, I've learned everything I have about the UK by watching these kinds of police ride along shows. Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?
